If you are hesitating, do not worry - we are here to explain everything you might want to know. Let us help!
As of now, Surfe (ex-Leadjet) supports Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Copper, but we’re working hard to support many more CRMs.
Absolutely. Surfe (ex-Leadjet) works with every type of LinkedIn account.
Yes, our extension also works on top of LinkedIn 'Sales Navigator'.
Nope. No credit card. This is really free.
We accept online payments through Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
No, you are free to cancel your subscription anytime. Our best price is available as an annual subscription, but we offer monthly subscriptions as well.
We do not need a written cancellation of the contract. By switching the subscription off in your dashboard, you officially cancel your contract with Surfe (ex-Leadjet). To avoid getting charged for the renewal of your license, make sure you disable your subscription before the expiry date.
If you are the administrator and owner of the company account, you can log into our dashboard here and manage all licenses from there.
Subscriptions are renewed automatically. If you do not request a cancellation, your subscription will be extended automatically for 1 month (for monthly subscriptions) or 12 months (for annual subscriptions). You may cancel your subscription any time before the automatic renewal.
As of now, Surfe (ex-Leadjet) does not offer a usable, general-purpose API. However, this feature is on our roadmap. If you're willing to develop your own connector, reach out to us.
Surfe (ex-Leadjet) being a Google Chrome extension, it only works on this browser and is therefore unfortunately not compatible with the LinkedIn app on smartphones.
Contacts and Leads are two different CRM objects: Leads usually referring to freshly found prospects while Contacts are qualified relations. Using Surfe (ex-Leadjet), you have the option to "Add as Contact", "Add as Lead", or "Add to new Opportunity" from your LinkedIn profile.
We are currently relying on DropContact to find details of prospects. It's available for a price up. However, our added value, intended for bigger entreprise accounts, is to also be able to link Surfe (ex-Leadjet) to any of your email enrichment providers (DropContact, Hunter, Skrapp, Kendo, ...).
Surfe (ex-Leadjet) takes care of querying the different providers until we get a result. You can take advantage of this enrichment feature when you click on "Reveal" on a LinkedIn profile. Simply grab your e.g. Hunter API key, put it on your dashboard, and you're all set!
We have initiated a partnership with a third party enrichment service (Dropcontact), and it comes with 600 monthly renewed credits for email/phone enrichment.
Yes, simply visit your dashboard. Here you have access to past invoices and the number of active licenses that can be modified.
Right now it's not possible to link Surfe (ex-Leadjet) with more than one CRM if your CRM accounts use the same email.
To add a new license, simply go to your dashboard and click on the section Licenses.
We need to retrieve the discussions we have previously synchronized in order to compare with the current status of the discussion with the prospect. This is only done when your LinkedIn conversation is loaded, we do not store anything on our servers, and we do not do any processing on the data other than a before/after comparison.
The person needs to download the extension here and follow the on-boarding process in order to connect the CRM account with Surfe (ex-Leadjet). After that, the new user will be connected to the extension using the same email as he/she is using for the CRM account. You can also invite new users directly from your dashboard here.
This button appears at the bottom of the conversations you have with contacts in your CRM only. It won't appear on LinkedIn profiles who are not within your CRM.
The LinkedIn conversations are grouped by day and added to the contact's profile. The content of the conversation is available in the activity's details. This way, you can have the conversation details directly in the timeline.
We use activities this way because it fits the needs of most of our users. In the same way you have the default activities "Phone Call", "Meeting", "Email", you now have activity "LinkedIn Conversation", which allows more traceability. All the messages sent within one day are reported as one LinkedIn Conversation in your CRM.
Basically, when you click on reveal, we will use a third party enrichment tool to attempt to find the prospect's email. You can add your own enrichment tool in your Surfe (ex-Leadjet) account page by copy-pasting its API key. By entering their API key provided by these tools, Surfe (ex-Leadjet) users can enrich in one click their contact's email information. A credit corresponds to one chance of revealing an email address. Surfe (ex-Leadjet) integrates with email providers, namely DropContact (available as a cheaper partnership plan), Hunter, Skrapp and Kendo (and more to come). We are currently relying on DropContact.
Indeed, we are currently accompanying the prospection profile by profile. However, we have some "trigger events" on the roadmap. For the moment, Surfe (ex-Leadjet) does not intend to do mass automation.
The drop-down menu in the Surfe (ex-Leadjet) dashboard contains all the custom fields of your CRM, You then need to match them with the information Surfe (ex-Leadjet) takes from the LinkedIn profiles.
The first person to ever link your CRM to Leadjet becomes the owner of the Surfe (ex-Leadjet) account. All your other collaborators can be invited from the dashboard or download the extension, and that's it! We automatically match them to your CRM instance, and they will benefit from the custom settings of the owner.
The assignment is automatic. Your collaborators can simply download the Surfe (ex-Leadjet) extension, log into it using the same email they use in the CRM, and start using Surfe (ex-Leadjet). You can always deactivate licenses or upgrade your employees from your dashboard.
Once you have purchased your licenses, invite your other collaborators to connect and download the extension here then log into it with the email they use in the CRM. We will automatically match the accounts for them, so they will benefit from the full plan right away.
Please disconnect and reconnect again. Also make sure you've downloaded the newest version from the Google Chrome Store. If not, deinstall and install the newest version from the chrome store again here.
After you manually enter the email, you need to click 'enter' or on the ✔ tick next to the email to validate the input.
We solved the duplicate contacts issue by comparing the LinkedIn URLs when looking for the contacts. For this to work properly, you first need to go to your Surfe (ex-Leadjet) dashboard and fill in the Custom Fields section. It will allow us to know where to look for the LinkedIn URL of your contacts and where to put it when you add a contact from LinkedIn!
Surfe (ex-Leadjet) is a multi-user software from the start. Here is how it works:
- one person of the company has the administrator account (and can access the billing settings here),
- any number of other collaborators can be regular users.
To subscribe, you will simply need to choose how many collaborators you want to have as Surfe (ex-Leadjet) users and continue with the payment process here. These collaborators will then have to download the extension here, connect with their email, and that's it! A slot was reserved for each of them. Since you all share the same CRM instance, we automatically know that you are from the same company.
The swap of seats is available within your account dashboard here.
The "bulk" feature is not supported for now. We are not a mass-automation tool.
Surfe (ex-Leadjet) overwrites all non-empty fields supplied, including the email. If no email is found on LinkedIn, the one you currently have will be left untouched! We will work in the coming version to make it possible for you to tailor the behavior of Surfe (ex-Leadjet) regarding your fields to suit your needs.
- The auto-update feature works in the background, along the normal LinkedIn navigation of the user. We do so to avoid creating too much unusual activity that LinkedIn may be suspicious of. No action whatsoever is required by the user - everything happens automatically, once in a while.
- We only update CRM contacts with a LinkedIn URL available. For technical reasons, first, and also because it often means that the said contacts were visited before, and so we keep the scope of the auto-update feature limited (to prevent LinkedIn suspicion, always).
- We take the most outdated CRM contacts in priority and send a report showing what changed every Monday. - If we have more Surfe (ex-Leadjet) users, we can run more updates per year. For instance if we have 10 users we can auto-update 300k contacts per year.
